Breathwork Group Sessions
Fire Ceremonies
Join us for a release breathwork session in a group setting.
Here we use the power of the group to support each participant’s release and form a network of support for each other. The sessions are organized locally as well as internationally and are always in person events.
The group varies in size and setup depending on the setting.
What to expect:
By altering your breathing, you can elicit a state of being that is different from every day awareness. In this state you can access your subconscious mind, the largest driver of our emotions and feelings (and thereby also our actions). Such direct contact also bypasses the rules of the mind which makes it easier to let go of what no longer serves us (thoughts, feelings, emotions, or sometimes even physical ailments).
We are meditating, breathing and integrating the experience both individually and together.
Let’s breathe! :D
What to bring:
Come as you are, or bring a mat, pillow and blanket as indicated on the flyer/event.
Cost: Varies and as indicated in the flyer
Next appointment: Belgium, 27 December 2024
Join us for a fire ceremony every third Saturday of the month at Chlöpfgatter Feuerstelle, Liestal.
We start with the ceremony itself at 18:00 sharp. If you want, you are welcome to come a bit earlier to:
- take some time to tune in with the others before we start.
- help setting up the space.
Depending on the size of the group, the ceremony will last for 2 to 3 hours.
Afterwards, you are welcome to stay a bit longer to connect with others and share your experiences, or help with cleaning up.
Please register via email at “nancy ‘at’ flowtocenter.ch”
What to expect:
BACKGROUND: A fire ceremony is an ancient ritual that brought our ancestors together. Fire has been instrumental for our survival. In addition, our ancestors also saw that fire, in a metaphorical way, has the power to transform our inner world, and they derived inspiration from their interaction with it.
ON SITE: Our ceremony starts with gathering in a circle around the fire place and lighting the fire. During the ceremony, everyone will have, at least once, the opportunity to sit in front of the fire in a dedicated spot. Here, people can voice (either loudly or silently) what they wish to release and let go of in their lives, and also what they wish to attract. To support the process and to keep it light, there may be singing and rattling depending on what feels right in the moment.
Fire ceremonies have proven to catalyze big and sometimes powerful transformations.
What to bring:
- warm clothes
- a blanket
- a (hot) drink (no alcohol or other drugs permitted)
- Optionally, a rattle
Cost: Donation
Next appointment: Liestal, 14 December 2024
