On August 8th, each at their local time of 11:11, all drummers over the world will gather to drum. To drum our gratitude out into the world. Gratitude for the Earth, for being able to live here, and for all that lives with us on this beautiful ball. In second instance, we will also drum our gratitude and send it to our drums. These creatures who are accompanying and supporting us on so many journeys, always and without question, our unwavering support..
I wanted to organize something, to support the Global Drums Gathering, even if I am only doing it by myself, because I feel that sending out gratitude and love for everything and everyone is, now more than ever, very important. Especially in a world where we are immersed in fear and are trained to fear and see danger in everything and everyone, everywhere we go. There’s no need.. We are all dancing this dance together, we all have our demons to face, but in that we share with each other the same struggles, and we are in that sense the same.. Let’s not get lost in the details of trying to differentiate what is not there..
