This song has been in my playlist for a while, but just recently I started listening to the lyrics. They just make me love the song even more, maybe it inspires you too..
Because in essence this is exactly it, love and challenging our borders and fears. Especially in these times where fear is penetrating every orifice on the ‘frequency level’. There seems to be nothing but fear, and an ever present tightening of the net around us, restraining the last pieces of freedom we still have, all ‘in the name of’ <insert belief>.
We need a massive bout of collective disobedience if we are to break free from what is happening around us. Alas, the current formulation descending onto us seems to work splendidly: the right amount of fear with somewhat flawed reasoning seemingly prevents even the smartest minds on our globe from accessing their otherwise smoothly-functioning grey matter.
Bring on the oil and those flood lights :D
